I would also like to mention to all those other Lunenburg County amateur radio operators waiting for the call if required a thank you and to know that so many are ready to go in time of need thank you again.
There will be a emergency telecommunication course put on in November this year 2001. This course will be held on a weekend and will be an all day course. This course will be open to all amateur radio operators.

NOTE - Here is the reply back from Halifax.
I just want to take this opportunity to express my personal appreciation for the extremely rapid response that my urgent call to Al generated on Wednesday. Your support was not only badly needed, as we were rapidly exhausting Halifax area amateurs who had emergency communication training, but also very much appreciated. It was truly gratifying to see how the training that the Bridgewater amateur group has received has paid off "big time". I am truly proud to be able to say I am a member of the LCARC.
Great work guys.
